Willie Varnado Jr. of Northeast Houston

We mourn the death and celebrate the life and legacy of Willie Varnado, Jr.

Willie Varnado, Jr. was born January 3, 1937 in Franklin, Louisiana, to Willie Varnado, Sr. and Minnie Lee Spears. He was an only child. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Willie Varnado, Sr. and Minnie Lee Varnado.
Willie Varnado, Jr. united in marriage with Ivory Mae Bland on September 11, 1989. In this union they shared eight children; Annie, Maranda, Patricia, Melanie, Farry, Cynthia, Willie III, and Deanna. Willie Varnado, Jr. was known as a man that truly loved God and always shared the word to whomever he met. He was a praying man that followed after the heart of God. It was evident by his love for his wife and his children. He also loved his church. He was a faithful member and faithfully served through song with the Majestic Praise Choir. He also loved to fellowship with the P.U.S.H. Ministry. He was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
On August 13, 2012 Willie Varnado, Jr. departed this earthly life for the life that he lived and spoke about. Willie Varnado, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ivory Mae Varnado, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of relatives, family, and friends.
